The Alex Gallery is a leading commercial art gallery in Washington, D.C. featuring contemporary American and European painting, sculpture, and work on paper.




Founded in 1985 by Victor Gaetan, the gallery is located a few doors away from the Phillips Collection, the first American private museum devoted to modern art. The gallery's Victorian space was designed by the museum's architect, and the two buildings share many features.

The Alex Gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11-5, and by appointment.
